Lag Baomer / Upsherin Photography

It's almost Lag Baomer, you know what that means? A lotta little guys getting their haircuts!



Yesterday the rain stopped just long enough to take some before pictures of Avraham. On Sunday he, along with countless other little boys, will get their first haircuts as they hit the milestone of their third birthday.

Avrahams hair is not too long but it sure is curly. He was a real pleasure to take pictures of, easygoing and ready to smile, the camera loves him.




He's super excited to start wearing a Kippah and Tzitzis.







Y'know its not easy holding up those three fingers...that's his sister showing him how its done.




He only stood still for about 10 minutes - but thats all we needed!

There was certainly no shortage of dancing at this wedding. One of the assistants on my crew had never been to an orthodox Jewish wedding before. He was completely in awe of the emotional explosion he witnessed that night. If you have never seen a couple hundred Yeshivah guys celebrate together, drop me a line and come crash the next wedding I shoot. It was a crazy-fun night to be sure...Mazel Tov!

This past Sunday Jason and I had the opportunity to shoot our first Bris (circumcision) together. Jerry is not only his parents first child but also the first grandchild on both sides of the family. Has it really been an entire year since I committed to regularly update this Blog?!

Many, many apologies to my family, clients and friends who have put up with me during this tumultuous year. The "To Do" list is overwhelmingly long but will be conquered!

Yosemite

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Kruter clan will be moving out west for a while. I recently received a govt. grant, in association with the Ansel Adams foundation, to do some uber secret research involving high tech cameras and imaging technique. Summer Clearance Sale
